CentraCare announces new chief human resources officer

— CentraCare announced Kim Egan as the new chief human resources officer for the health care system. Egan will start in this role on May 31, according to a news release from the health system.

Egan has worked in the health care industry for more than 20 years. Her career has taken her to HealthPartners, Fairview Red Wing Health Services and Mayo Clinic.

Prior to taking the role at CentraCare, Egan worked as the vice president of human resources for Regions Hospital and the St. Croix Valley Hospitals and Clinics.

In her new position, Egan will be responsible for overseeing

CentraCare’s

strategies for achieving workforce goals. This includes planning and development, recruitment and retention, employee engagement and labor relations.

CentraCare is a health care network consisting of numerous hospitals, more than 25 clinics and several specialty care centers throughout central Minnesota.
