Spectrum announced Tuesday that it is aware of an outage that is affecting customers in Texas.

The outage includes internet, phone and cable. People with Spectrum phone service also cannot call 911, according to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.

Some utilities, including CPS Energy and municipalities, have announced that the internet outages are affecting their websites and pay-by-phone systems.

Spectrum said the outage was caused by a third-party infrastructure problem caused by Beryl.

“We are aware of the outage currently affecting customers in parts of Texas. The outage is due to a third-party infrastructure issue caused by the impact of Hurricane Beryl. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working with the third party to resolve this as quickly as possible. Thank you.”

The outage had been reported on the website DownDetector.com by more than 32,000 customers.

Power outages in the Houston area are affecting technology and broadcast companies.
