(DHi) is seeking a Hybrid Accounting Clerk (General Ledger Support) to manage ledger entries, reconcile accounts, and support monthly financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, analytical, and experienced with accounting software.\nThis role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate with team members effectively.\nKey Responsibilities\nBilling & Accounts Processing\n* Post journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts. \n* Ensure accurate account balances and timely ledger updates. \n* Identify and correct discrepancies in accounting records. \n\n\nCompliance & Reporting\n* Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management review. \n* Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures. \n* Help with audits and internal control reviews. \n\n\nCross-Department Coordination\n* Collaborate with finance, billing, and operations teams. \n* Ensure ledger processes align with company policies and industry standards. \n\n\nRequired Qualifications\n* Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. \n* 2–4 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles. \n* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. \n* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. \n* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. \n\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n* Experience in government contracting or defense-related accounting. \n* Familiarity with ERP or accounting platforms. \n\n\nCore Competencies\n* Accuracy & Attention to Detail: Ensure ledger and financial accuracy. \n* Communication Skills: Effectively communicate with team members. \n* Problem-Solving: Address accounting issues proactively. \n* Time Management: Handle multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines. \n\n\nWork Environment\n* Professional office environment (or hybrid/remote if applicable). \n* May require occasional travel. \n* Must be eligible to work in the United States. \n* Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance may be required. \n\n\nCompensation & Benefits\n* Competitive base salary (commensurate with experience) \n* Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance \n* 401(k) with company match \n* Paid Time Off (PTO) and Holidays \n* Life and Disability Insurance \n* Professional development opportunities \n\n\nEqual Opportunity Employer Statement\nDefense Holdings, Inc.
