Please Tell Me You Know About Shopping On Amazon Resale Because It Saves So Much Money

Recently, I wrote a post explaining how you can search your state’s treasury website to see if you have any unclaimed money. My heart filled when people in the comments found money that belonged to them! One commenter found out, they were owed almost $400. Anyway, I wanted to go ahead and share another super easy thing I do to save money around here. Maybe it’ll help!

Anyway, I save money by shopping on Amazon Resale. This isn’t an ad or anything; I just use this feature a lot and have saved a sizeable amount of money. It’s tough out there, so I figured you should know about it, too.

I’ve been buying whatever I can from Amazon Resale, and I’ve saved $16 on a baby walker and $9 on a laptop case. It’s not bad!

It’s on the Amazon App, and it’s basically buying the item you’re looking for, but someone returned it first.

Once someone returns the item, Amazon checks it for quality, then discounts it and lists it as used on the website.

It’s also good for things people commonly get the wrong size of, like phone and laptop cases.

And I’ve noticed it has a lot of registry-looking items that people probably didn’t need/use, like toys and clothes from baby registries and household items from wedding registries.

You can access Amazon Resale through the dropdown menu on the desktop and the hamburger menu on the Amazon app.

And, IF there is an Amazon Resale version of that item available, it’ll show up under the listing of the product as “More buying options.” Availability of a resale item is, obviously, dependent on what is returned and in what condition it’s in.
