Nominees for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame class of 2024 are in and Cher, Mariah Carey, Lenny Kravitz and Ozzy Osbourne are among the 15 stars up for the honour.
In a touching tribute, Sinead O’Connor has also been put forward following her sudden passing last year.
In order to be eligible, all acts must have released their first song in the year 1999 or before and members of the Hall of Fame will vote on their inductee choices, with the announcement set to be made in April.
Across to LA now, the stars of the big screen have hit the red carpet for the Directors Guild of America Awards.
The cast and crew from the three biggest movies last year, including Oppenheimer, Poor Things and Barbie were all there and Christopher Nolan took home the top prize on the night, earning his first DGA for Oppenheimer.
It is a good Oscar predictor for the director.
And Greta Gerwig was also honoured with the Feature Film Medallion and her Barbie colleague Ryan Gosling was there to say a few nice words.
Check it out in the video above.
And Jimmy Barnes has shared some very exciting updates with fans on Instagram.
The rock legend announced his first show back on stage this year will be the legendary Byron Bay Bluesfest and he also announced he’ll be hitting the road for his Hell of a Time tour, which will see him play shows nationally, kicking off in Perth in a couple of months.
Tickets for that one go on sale at 10am local time next Monday.
It of course comes less than two months after Jimmy underwent major open heart surgery, so it’s amazing to see him recovering so well.
