Just a few days ago Nick Kyrgios achieved the most important result of his career. The strong and distinctive Australian tennis player reached the Wimbledon final and only world tennis legend Novak Djokovic stopped him from winning.
The two gave birth to a great match with the Serbian tennis player who won in four sets. Since that match Kyrgios still has to take the field, the tennis player forfeited the Atlanta tournament a few hours before the tournament starts.
Nick then spoke in a question and answer with the fans who brought back the Sportkeeda colleagues. Here are the words of him specifically, regarding the Wimbledon final: “To be honest I think I had an impressive match, especially for my first Grand Slam final.
Maybe next time I’ll try to control my emotions more if I find myself playing a game of this level. Against Nole I played a spectacular match and, based on how I served and also how I played, I think I would have won the final against any opponent other than Novak Djokovic.
People who criticize me don’t know what I’ve been through in my life. People confuse my great self-confidence with arrogance.”
Nick Kyrgios lived through a turbulent period due to his relationship with Chiara Passari, a former girlfriend who, among other things, entangled him in a bad legal situation.
Kyrgios also talked about his relationship with Costeen Hatzi, a relationship that is going well: “In the past I spent hours glued to my cell phone and all the time I wondered what people thought of me. Thanks to Costeen I feel that I can completely disconnect from tennis and I have quality moments in my life, I am relaxed.
When both people are in love everything is easier, having Costeen with me is a blessing for my career and it is certainly helping me a lot.”
