Over the past few months, it’s become clear that the Arizona Cardinals intend to move on from star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins and he’s already been the subject of many trade rumors throughout the league this offseason. But it looks like a surprising team is emerging as the frontrunner to land him: the Buffalo Bills.
According to a report from Houston Texans reporter Aaron Wilson, DeAndre Hopkins has plenty of interest from teams across the league, but the trade market is “headlined” by the Buffalo Bills.
“#Cardinals DeAndre Hopkins’ trade market headlined by #Bills, per NFL sources. Five-time Pro Bowl selection has plenty of interest on trade market, but financial expectations might impact any further interest from #Chiefs #Ravens not among bidders, per sources,” Wilson said in a tweet.

Obviously, this would be a big move for both the Bills and Hopkins, providing star quarterback Josh Allen with a new weapon as the team looks to make a Super Bowl push. As a result, the NFL world had plenty to say about it on Twitter.

There is too much smoke around DHop and the Bills for there not to be very real interest to the point Beane has the money sorted out.
Whether the Bills land Hopkins remains to be unseen, but it’s a signal that McBeane are ALL IN for 2023-24. #BillsMafia https://t.co/ldN68sFWrE pic.twitter.com/haqRuI0SPF

It probably won’t happen. But this is the same guy who said the Chiefs were in on Tunsil two days after they signed Jawaan Taylor. https://t.co/rlTrJu3Q6j

Obviously, nothing is official yet and things can certainly change. So we’ll have to see how this shakes out or if the team pulls off the move, after all.
