If you enjoyed the first five episodes of the Netflix tennis series Break Point, then you no doubt can’t wait for the release of the final five episodes of season 1.
Break Point – filmed and produced by the same team that brought you Formula 1’s hit docuseries F1: Drive to Survive – dropped in January this year, but only the first five episodes were made available and now Netflix has confirmed that the next batch of episodes will be released on June 21.
Nick Kyrgios, Taylor Fritz, Ons Jabeur, Ajla Tomljanovic, Iga Swiatek, Frances Tiafoe and Aryna Sabalenka will headline the Batch 2 of Break Point.
Kyrgios, Fritz, Jabeur and Ajla Tomljanovic also starred in Batch 1.
Former world No 1s Andy Roddick and Maria Sharapova, tennis super coach Patrick Mouratoglou, rising star Carlos Alcaraz – who won the US Open – Ratko Tomljanovic (Ajla’s Father) and tennis legend Chris Evert will also feature the second batch of episodes.
In case you forgot, the first six episodes were: Episode 1 – The Maverick, Episode 2 – Take the Crown, Episode 3 – California Dreaming, Episode 4 – Great Expectations and Episode 5 – King of Clay.

Wimbledon will be the central feature when the next episode is released and Nick Kyrgios will once again be the star of the show as the film crew follows him around at the All England Club.
Back in the second episode Ajla Tomljanovic and Matteo Berrettini were dating, but the Australian “needs to overcome her personal and professional heartbreaks” in episode six.
The action continues at Wimbledon 2022 as Kyrgios continues his chaotic run to his maiden Grand Slam final, losing his temper and winding opponents up, but also delivering his best on the court.
Ons Jabeur, meanwhile, produces a trailblazing run as the Tunisian becomes the first Arab and woman from Africa to reach a major final.
From Wimbledon to the US Open where Tomljanovic is the woman to hand the great Serena Williams her final defeat in professional tennis – and she has to do it in front of 24,000 screaming fans rooting for her to fail.
Frances Tiafoe, the son of two immigrants from Sierra Leone, enjoyed a fairytale run at the US Open last year as the American defeated Rafael Nadal en route to reaching his maiden Grand Slam semi-final.
Of course on the women’s side, Iga Swiatek capped off her glorious season by winning the 2023 US Open.
The 2022 tennis season comes to a conclusion with the ATP Finals in Turin and the WTA Finals in Fort Worth. Taylor Fritz gets a last-gasp entry into the men’s tournament. Can he upset the big names?
Meanwhile, Aryna Sabalenka is out to finish a difficult season on a high note.
Netflix has already announced the renewal of Break Point for a second season and filming for behind-the-scenes look at the lives of top tennis players has already started.
