Lévé Global, the Trinidad-based strategic and business transformation consultancy, is celebrating the wins of three of its clients at the recent World Travel Awards.
Their clients, Fond Doux Eco Resort, Mount Irvine Bay Resort in Tobago and Dominica, won big at the awards gala held in Saint Lucia.
Fond Doux, situated on a 250-year-old cocoa plantation in St. Lucia, won the 2023 Leading Caribbean Green Resort. This is the second time running for Fond Doux, having also secured the award in 2022.
Mount Irvine Bay Resort in Tobago was the winner of the coveted LUXlife 2023 Resorts and Retreats Award – in the categories of Best Trinidad and Tobago Resort and Best Luxury Modern Seaside Resort – Trinidad and Tobago.
Dominica clinched the number one island spot in the Caribbean and proudly stands as the number eight island in the world in this year’s ‘World’s Best Awards’ – an honour they are celebrating for the second consecutive year.
Lévé Global, through its Exceptional Caribbean digital platform which celebrates and promotes those hidden gems of the Caribbean, like Fond Doux, is working with the property to boost its online presence and drive bookings.
With a unique approach that combines personalised marketing, authentic storytelling, and niche tourism expertise, Lévé Global has been able to channel more traffic to this stellar resort through its digital platforms.
Dr. Auliana Poon, founder of Lévé Global, commended Fond Doux Eco Resort for its demonstration of exceptional community spirit, new and cost-effective approaches with sustainability initiatives and their support of local businesses; especially during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Lyton Lamontagne, owner of Fond Doux Eco Resort, said: “Our first interaction with Lévé Global was a conversation with Dr. Poon at Fond Doux. We were excited by the innovative insights and ideas presented to us. We are appreciative of the opportunity to partner with Lévé Global.”
Lévé Global is also providing digital marketing expertise to Mount Irvine Bay Resort in expanding the reach of their digital marketing campaigns, engagement, and conversions.
Lévé Global, has also partnered with the Discover Dominica Authority (DDA) to develop Dominica’s National Tourism Policy, the Tourism Master Plan, and the Authority’s Corporate Strategy. These initiatives will help the “Nature Island” to remain innovative, forward-thinking, and competitive.
Colin Piper, Chief Executive Officer of the Discover Dominica Authority applauded Lévé Global for crafting the Tourism Policy and Master Plan stating that “the quality of the work carried out was excellent.”
The company also developed the Responsible Tourism Strategy for Saint Lucia’s Southeast Coast. It is anticipated that this strategy will revitalise and transform the east coast communities, placing greater emphasis on the development of stronger, more responsible, digital-oriented, and more inclusive tourism growth.
Already, on Lévé Global’s recommendation, a team of over 20 small tourism businesses in the Southeast coast visited Fond Doux Eco Resort in August 2023 to get a “live” and direct example of what responsible tourism looks like.
Project Manager, John Calixte, said: “Thanks to Dr. Poon and her team’s recommendation to visit Fond Doux Eco Resort, the trip was a resounding success. It has excited many of the participants to implement responsible tourism in their businesses. I can’t wait to see what ideas they come up with next.”
Leve Global said these standout achievements underscore its commitment to excellence and its unparalleled ability to elevate (the meaning of Lévé in patois) Caribbean tourism.
Each of these tourism entities’ success stories is a testimony to Lévé Global’s innovative strategies, personalised touch, and deep understanding of the region’s unique offerings.
Dr. Poon said: “Lévé Global has been a pioneer in responsible tourism, steadily building out its digital technology, depth of human resource capacity, and data capabilities over the decades. We are presently focused on working with small tourism enterprises in revolutionising their digital marketing strategies that will distinguish businesses from the traditional Caribbean narrative of sun, sea, and sand. We are all about letting the world fall in love with the authentic natural vibe of the Caribbean, its peoples, and its stories.”
