United States of America (USA) have named their squad for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 Qualifiers. What has been the main highlight is that they have left out experienced campaigner Corey Anderson from the team for the mega event.
Corey Anderson, who represented New Zealand in international cricket, moved to the USA in 2020 and after playing domestic cricket there, he became eligible to play for the national team earlier this year. It was expected that he would be there in the team, considering his experience and the kind of player he is. But the selectors didn’t consider the one who was part of Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL ) and held the record of the fastest hundred in ODI cricket.
