Ever since his epic PGA Championship finish, Michael Block has been the talk of the town for his performace. The PGA Pro took no time in becoming an overnight sensation with his unbelievable run at the major tournament. However, despite his huge newly-found fandom, the golf star was recently scrutinized by the golf world for his crucial words involving Rory McIlroy.
Not just that, the golfer also hasn’t been able to impress any of his fans with his game at the Charles Schwab Challenge. And that has brought him to make a serious confession about his own perception of his abilities. However, his recent emotional statements seem to have regained his nearly-lost fanbase on social media!

Block, who recently shocked the golf world with his T15 finish at the PGA Championship, is back in the headlines. But this time, it’s not because of his epic golfing skills. Not to forget, the player made some questionable statements about PGA Tour loyalist Rory McIlroy, in a recent podcast episode. And that invited a lot of anger from fans across the world leading to a huge debate over the player’s strong yet unreasonable claims.
Notably, the golf star seemed to have infuriated tons of fans with his statements. However, after his recent confession at the Charles Schwab Challenge interview, golf enthusiasts couldn’t help but sympathize with Block.
Currently, the golf coach turned golf superstar is struggling really hard to move positions on the Charles Schwab leaderboard. But as it turns out, he is stuck at the last spot in the tournament.
Clearly, it is not a good place for Block to be in. And while talking about his first-round finish, he simply couldn’t hold his tears in. “If you are a golfer, you’ve had the day I had, and you understand the facts of where the lies aren’t good and trees are in your way every time, and even your good shots are bad, your bad shots are worse…and you know what? It is what it is!” he said. “I going to live with it.”
The golfer also mentioned that he was going to give it his best shot to score as well as he could. However, he wouldn’t be disappointed if he couldn’t play as well since that would be a chance for him to see his family sooner! “Coming out here and not having my game at all and having a lot of bad luck…just call it golf,” he added. “I’m going to see my boys tomorrow night.”
Golf fans have been giving all kinds of reactions to the emotional video ever since it was shared by the PGA Tour. Despite all the criticism he received for his recent McIlroy claims, his admirers are now consoling him with their touching comments.
