Christmas Train of Lights take visitors on festive holiday ride
The annual Christmas Train of Lights in the United Kingdom stunned onlookers as it passed by during a trial run.
Love looking at Christmas lights? Connecticut has one of the best displays in the nation, according to U.S. News & World Report.
The digital media company just released a list of the 28 best Christmas light displays in 2024, and it included Glow Hartford in Hartford, Connecticut. An indoor light display, Glow Hartford illuminates the Connecticut Convention Center with holiday cheer and over a million lights each Christmas season.

About Glow Hartford
Glow Hartford’s interactive light displays features Christmas scenes like a reindeer-drawn carriage, tunnel of lights, giant ornament, Northern Lights replica, snowman archway and present display.
New this year, each child can embark on a scavenger hunt around the world, with designated country areas including illuminated structures like the Taj Mahal and the Eiffel Tower. Each of the six countries grants one stamp in a passport, and those with all six stamps win a prize at the end.
The light show is joined by live entertainment, food concessions and a holiday marketplace featuring unique gifts and seasonal treats from over 20 local vendors. Kids can also enjoy attractions like a light-up train ride, a bouncy farm, giant LED swings, an interactive playground and visits with Santa.
How to go to Glow Hartford
Tickets to Glow Hartford cost $30 for adults, $20 for children ages 5-15 or $15 for seniors over 65, military, police, first responders and veterans.
Holiday lights will glow in Hartford Thursday-Sunday from Nov. 29 through Dec. 29, with additional dates the week before Christmas. Hours are 4-9 p.m. on weekdays or 12-8 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
Glow Hartford is hosted in the Connecticut Convention Center at 100 Columbus Blvd. in Hartford.
