According to auction house Bonhams, around 300 items will be available for online bidding from January 30 to February 8, 2024, and a live auction will be held on February 7, 2024 in London offering an additional 150 lots.
“It is also the closest anyone can come to owning the real thing – be it the facade of 10 Downing Street or Princess Diana’s engagement ring,” said Charlie Thomas, group director for house sales, and private and iconic collections at Bonhams, in a statement.
Among the prized items is a replica of Princess Diana’s iconic “revenge dress” worn by actress Elizabeth Debicki in season five. It is expected to bring between £8,000 (US$10,000) and £12,000.
A copy of Lady Diana’s sapphire engagement ring, which actress Emma Corrin wore while portraying the Princess of Wales and valued between £2,000 and £3,000, is also up for auction.
